Shangrila vs the apartment vs the food court

1) Shangrila's lunch buffet - expensive, lots of variety, BUT, they don't taste good. Thank goodness we'd a discount voucher, else imagine paying 100 bucks for nice looking but horrible (k, maybe not that bad, but certainly not good) tasting food. Nah. No more second time. It doesn't even feel like you're having a buffet lunch in the hotel, more like an open air market. A tad too noisy.

2) The Apartment at the Curve - interesting concept, can be a nice hang out place, provided they at least work on their drinks. Food ain't great, only edible. The mango and duck salad was the worst choice I've made. Oh, this ain't even edible. Pasta was alright, the baked fish was a bit too salty for my taste, and with that, we've decided not to order anymore.

3) SS15 foodcourt, opposite Taylors College - the most economical food place. Afterall, this is the most satisfactory foodcourt that I've been to. Their stingray is really good!

Hundreds spent altogether but only the foodcourt is statisfactory. What happen?

40 minutes more and it's your birthday.

And I'm not forgetting it. Never will it slips my mind.

All I want to do is sing you a birthday song. A birthday song that comes only from the heart, from the sweet memories I had with you, with care, love and best wishes.

May happiness be with you always. For you look good only in smile.

This is sooo getting on my nerves!!

Darn the stupid helpline service!!!

If you (whoever that's responsible) ain't goin to pick up the damn phone, then don't even ask the applicants to call up to check their visa status! I've been tryin almost the whole afternoon and all that I got was either 1) the line is engaged, 2) call is not answered (and 1 sec before the line's supposedly engaged) 3) directed to the machine operated menu, which is so freaking useless as there's no option to speak to an operator but the machine!!

HELPLINE eh! What a bloody helpful line!!! It's helping sooo much by all means to frustate me, and nothing else!

I'm seriously goin to lodge a complaint on this once I get my visa. What's the use of having a helpline that doesn't allow the caller to even get hold of the operator, what's more this is the only direct means advised by the officer to check the status of our visa application before we proceed with our collection. Yes. The other option is by email. But hell know when are they goin to reply. Seriously, I've no faith in them!! But let's just wait and see, if at all I'm goin to get any reply from them.

Be it the human factor or technical problem. Please get the service back to standard!!!

I haven't been swearing for donkey years, please don't make me start!!!!

Transformers! I'm so loving it!

Just came back from watching Transformers and sheeeesh, never knew I'd love the movie soooo much!!!

Says who it's a guy's movie?! Bumblebee is sooooo cute! How can he beee sooo adorable! With its blue lil cute eyes!! Especially the scene where he looked back at Sam when he's caught by that stupid state seven people. I was so touched by that! Oh, and the groovy cars! Though some of the parts were a lil messy to me, particularly the fighting bits (aint able to differentiate the good and bad guys, which doesn't matter much to me anyway), I'm still loving it! I'm contented! I just love the way the movie is put together. With some humour and aspiring statement in it! Now I can understand why most of the guys do not mind to watch it for a second time. Coz I'm also on the same shoe. =)

Can't quite remember the cartoon version of it, that was like donkey years back when I watched it! And having watched this movie, I feel like revisiting the cartoon series! Yea. This's how much I enjoyed the movie.

Harry Porter doesnt even give me that feel! Transformers simply is just so darn awesome!

Gambate!

It's Sunday again. Not in a very cheerful mood. Arghh!

Why is everyone asking me about you?!
Why is everyone askin me bout you when I aint in the mood?
It's been months and shouldn't we close the chapter by now?

Argh!!!! Deep breath. Take a deep breath!

Perhaps I'll be more readily to talk bout things when I'm on the high.
Perhaps I've overestimated myself on my capability.
Perhaps, I've not done enough exercise!
Perhaps, it's just a moment thing.

Yea. It's just a moment of down time.

Gambate! Gambate!

Investing in the FUTURE?!!

This is simply soo my-goodness-interesting!!! RM1.1billion for motivational courses for the students?!!! That's hell lot of money to feed the 'party-of-interest'! Our government seriously is loaded with money and has no better way to spend it! Sigh. Not that I'm against motivational courses, and not that I know how the government came up with such a budget (whether or not the sum has a valid basis), it's in anyway just too surprising to see billions of dollars for MOTIVATIONAL course? If' that's what they think can fix the current education system, well, lets bless us all!

Motivational courses to me act no more than a reaction that is very time dependent. I would rather the government uses the money to introduce more practical modules (be it compulsary or optional) into the syllabus, for instance the very basic microsoft office or the sort (I've met quite a handful of people who do not know how to use excel, and I'm talking about very basic excel here, and they're all graduates from university!), writing and thinking skills, and perhaps courses that involved extensive communications and interactions. These are the skills that will be carried with the students always. Early exposure, if permitted is certainly better than later. I always believe a condusive environment is critical for personal or professional development as humans are the product of the society and environment.

PETALING JAYA: The Government has allocated RM1.1bil for motivational courses for students in all parliamentary constituencies in the country, Deputy Information Min-ister Datuk Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

He said the money would be channelled through the Information Ministry's Special Affairs Depart-ment.
“Umno, as the leading party in Government, is also concerned about students' development as they are the country's future,” he said after closing a motivational course for children of Subang Umno members here yesterday. – Bernama

This or That?

Pharmaceutical Science and Engineering or Chemical Biology? Don't think I'm liking 'IF' and 'OR' now.

Decision, decision, decision. Grrrr. Tough call, when both courses have something that I'm interested in. And that's not it!

To stay on campus or off campus?
If on campus, which accommodation should I select?
If off campus, where about do I want?
To buy an open ticket or 1 way ticket?

Questions never end, will they?

We're living in the world of choices.

Yada yada

Hectic day today! One whole day of assessment from 8.30am to 6ishpm. And I had a bus to catch at 6.45pm to come back to SG. I'm just so dead tired now! Wondering why am I still online typing this instead of goin to bed? Hmmm.

Never knew that the assessment can be this tiring as I've never attended any previously, but am certainly glad that I was given a chance to see what it is like. Oh btw, this is the very first stage of screening for the Khazanah Scholarship. We'd some sort of IQ test to begin with, followed by a group task where we're asked to conduct a survey and to present the data at the end of the task to the board, and next we're tested on our strategic thinking, confidence level, interpersonal skills yada yada based on a scenario created by the facillitator. Lots of Q&A sessions, from group interviews to inteview in pairs. Phewww. Am just so relieved now, that it's over!

When I was on the bus, alone (I think that could probably be the reason), I just have a sudden urge of calling you to share what's happened today, and what and how I felt. Must have been a lil deprived in having someone that I can share my on-goings with. Hmmm. No one to talk to can be a lil upsetting.

And now I know why you're always hungry by the time you reach my place at midnight. Coz I felt exactly the same when I was bout to reach home. I think I'll just sleep through it. Nobody to cook for me. Sob sob. =p

Still have to go to work tomorrow. Arghhhh!!

Should I?

Should I let you know that I'm back in KL for just one night? And update you a lil on my doings? Sigh. Thought I've already had all memories of you buried, but, through out the whole 5 hours journey, all I had on mind were these not-helping-me-in-any-sense-questions, turning me up-side-down. The nearer it was to KL, the more frequent you're on my mind, with occasionally distraction from the movie (Yea, I ain't concentrating at the movie, at all). And sigh...it's CLICK, the movie that we watched together in the cinema!

Haven't been thinking bout you, bout us, bout the past for a while, and I was just surprised (or maybe not so) myself that the trip back to KL actually managed to kick start my memory of you. And I wonder how are you doin now?

Thoughts. And I know for sure they will remain as just thoughts. For my goodness sake! For it's just the product under hormones influence. For I've came to realise that (or maybe forced myself to realise) should we meant to be in touch, we'll be. Yes. I'm becoming a bit more passive in this regard now. And I shall remain in such status.
